    That's how this story should end. Either she quit, or she gets fired. Plain and simple :slight_smile:

    Went on the website stated where the letter was posted. Sounds like a whiny baby to me. She claims that there are no protections for town clerks who have religious oppositions. I mean I'm fine with churches having protection from having to perform same-sex marriages, but for one person (or a couple...whatever) expect special protection in a state-run institution to be the only one (or few) who doesn't have to issue licenses, frankly it's ridiculous.

    Dont you love the group is called "New Yorkers for Constitutional Rights", and yet they are for taking away peoples rights. Funny.

    You cannot work in a goverment position, and expect special protections.
