"New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms"? Now this is a textbook definition of irony.

People will do anything to get a law they dont agree with throw out. Even if their challenge has nothing to do with the actual law.

It's going to be a glorious trainwreck. They have not a snowball's chance.

I just don't understand people like this. You would think they wouldn't care, but people surprise you... Why should they care if people can get married to who they want? And secondly, the people are still gonna date and maybe movie in with each other, so marriage just makes it more... proper. These people are normally for "proper," so what's wrong with them now??? These people make no sense. at all... *shakes head*

My dear Charmander, I basically consider people's thoughts on gay marriage like this:

Really? It's still like that? And here I was, thinking we were more civilized than that... (not you or anyone on here, but society in general)

This is really too bad... :frowning2:

Thank you for clearing that up, but you would think if they had any sense at all, they would see it as more... "proper." :eusa_doh: Not that I really care about propriety, but still, I hope this law is not revoked, and I personally see no reason it should be, so *fingers crossed* maybe we will get lucky. ^u^

Of course you must remember, people who talk about "love" and "kindness" have never known such a thing

Chip, what exactly do you mean by that? (Just curious) it wasn't clear to me.
