make no mistake, they would not recognize God. Their idea of traditional marriage has no real basis on what the bible considers biblical marriage. big contradictions between the bible and nom's view of marriage is that in the bible, marriage is a tranferense of property ownership, in that the women is transfered as an object from the control of her father, to the control of her husband. Biblical marriage also was that men can have more than one wife. Biblical marriage also does not requsited love, and love was frowned upon. Marriages in bible times were prearranged without the consent of the husband or wife.

If they are going to claim to be upholding traditional marriage with a religious ferver and slant, they need to at the very least conform to the marriage found in the bible. but they dont, because their marriages do not conform... except maggie gallagher's multiple marriages... she is incapable of love, so she fits the bill in the 'love doesnt matter' area.
