    Excuse me? I am more than sure no Catholic, in their right mind and total communion with the Vatican, would say such a thing.

    Also, you can see from the videos of said event, there were over a million young people attending the event and barely any moved through the twenty-minute storm.

    I can't wait to go to WYD Rio 2013!

    What a load of bull this article is. The author, Kevin Farrell, is an idiot. He wouldn't know a Catholic if he found himself at mass.

    Now, I'm not a Roman Catholic... but I sure as hell know that Catholics DO NOT believe that events like hurricane Katrina was God's reponse to New Orleans' anything. Please.... how dumb are you?

    Moreover, did he actually read/hear what the Pope said at WYD? Yeah, I hate it too when the Pope promotes peace and prays for the youth of the world; particularly in bad parts of the world. And as for this "rousing homophobic speech" I guess I missed that part?

    Who write this stuff??

    This is the sort of prejudice crap that we in the gay community are fighting and... yet here we find a blogger within our community promoting it against another group. And so the vicious prejudice circle continues...

    Regardless of how you feel about the papacy, you have to admit it is funny when the wind picks up and plasters one's Jesus-cape to one's face in front of a crowd of thousands.
