Haha, atleast this hate speech is a bit more amusing than usual.

Homosexuality has been around since the dawn on time. What, has God just been "waiting" to unleash a minor damage earthquake?

"My earthquake has left small cracks in the Washington Monument. Take THAT, gays!"

If it was New York gay marriage....then why didn't it strike New York? Oh snap.

(I know people felt it there but it didn't HIT there)

I love how he goes on to talk about how they men of Sodom tricked them, "sodomized them", and cut off their members. None of that stuff happened in the story, so I dont know what bible he is reading.

And if one more person says that legalizing gay marriage is shoving it down the throats of religious organizations, I am going to punch them. Not being allowed to get married because YOUR religious says so is shoving it down our throats, not the other way around.

"Homosexuality is an fucking abomination! The Bible tells me so, and this is America, my church makes the laws!" XP

It's probably from a midrash on Genesis. Midrashim are retellings of biblical stories with additional details added in. It's perfectly legitimate in rabbinic Judaism to cite a midrash from a respected (i.e. around the time of the composition of the Talmud) rabbi in a theological argument.
