Christian News - Glee Is Desensitizing Our Kids To Homosexuality

Imo, if they want a "perfect" show, they should just turn off the TV. Glee isn't the only show that contains homosexuality. And what's wrong with kids watching it? It's educational. Most parents don't even talk to kids about homosexuality. They usually have to figure things out for themselves.

 

Glee hasn't seemed to have a lot of sex in my opinion? (especially compared to Gossip Girl). At least not a lot of graphic sex, more like it is mentioned.
"Desensitized" is hilarious...as if being gay is on the same level as violence? People are gay, therefore there will be gay people on TV, especially in a highschool SHOW CHOIR based show. Are they gonna start complaining that the gay couple next door is desensitizing people too?

 

by their standards, we should be banning and burning the bible. that is filled to the brim with kinky sex, promotion of rape as a virture if you pay the father of the girl you rape 60 silver coins after you have already raped her, selling your daughter into slavery, and that your wife is your property, and marriage is nothing more of a transfer of ownership of a women from father to husband...

You know what kills me about this? Everybody's up in arms about how Glee is desensitizing kids to homosexuality but no one really goes on about violence on TV quite as much as they used to. Apparently, being gay & being open about it is more of an offensive idea that being violent in society. Maybe this is why violence against LGBT people doesn't seem to upset the straights as much as it should - they're being desensitized to violence at a much faster rate...

IMO Glee is desensitizing our kids to auto-tune. That stuff sounds horrible.

About the desensitization to violence thing, I'm sure anti-gay violence bothers a great many more straight people than we think. The thing is, they're afraid to speak up because they don't want to be targeted as well (which is, to be fair, understandable).

 

Rubbish. If you don't like a TV show then turn off the TV or change the channel and leave the people who do like it in peace. Or are these bigots so stupid that they can't operate a remote control?

 

i forget... it is the law that someone will hold the gun to your head to make you watch certain shows.

why don't the christian broadcasting network start focusing their effort on helping the poor and the sick, and ending the physical and sexual abuse of children by preachers who are apart of the CBN's fundementalist ideology.
