Gay civil partners ‘less likely to split up than straight married couples’

    Well this is obviously true. We have to fight for our love and be judged by others for it, which only makes us prouder and more motivated to be together. While straight people can get married for whatever reason such as being drunk, marrying for money, or just for the hell of it and it is still considered "normal or "natural" because it is between a man and a woman.

    So is it because of the different name or because the people are more dedicated? Like the reply above, I think it means more to gay people.

    I would like to see a study of child abuse victims (would rather there were none, obviously) compare the percent of kids abused in same-sex and opposit-sex lead homes. I bet we would have the lower rate by a much larger differential than in this divorce study. Just face it straights, we're better :thumbsup:
