All bullying, be it anti-gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, on the street, in school, in a movie theater, outside, inside, in a hallway, next to a hallway, on top of a hallway, on a mountain, in a valley, under water, online, or in your own home.

If you have the time, please go to the above website and take the pledge to stand up against any bullying. It's not going to go away on it's own unless people like us stand up for the victims. No more people need to die to this barbaric act against humanity.

I don't care who you are, who you think you are, what color your skin is, what religion you follow, your background, your history, who your friends are, or how you were raised. Nobody has the right to bully somebody into feeling any less than the bright and shining star every single person on this planet is.

Everybody is equal, from the highest politicians in government to the single mother living on the street asking for handouts to the kid sitting alone at the lunch table, the man behind the gun, and the one in front of it, the person on the mountain, and the one in the trenches. Nobody has the right to tell you otherwise; be it laws, religion, signs, government, people, places, or even yourself.

I don't want to see another bright star extinguished because somebody wanted to impress their friends. I don't want to see another bright star fade away because they were "different", or not "normal", or more intelligent, less intelligent, stronger, weaker, taller, shorter, fatter, thinner, black, blue, green, white, purple, from a different country, or have different ideals, ideas, or beliefs.

Underneath you have nothing that makes you better than the people next to you. Neither do those people, or the people next to them, the stars next to those stars, the stars in other countries, planets, or even galaxies. Each person is as special and as deserving of every right as the person next to them. We are all equal no matter what anybody says and anybody who tells you otherwise is a cowardly liar.

Nobody has the right to extinguish another star, because each star is as beautiful and brilliant as the ones around them. No single star is brighter than another. So if you see somebody being bullied please step in and do what's right. Two stars shine twice as bright as one and if we all work together one day our light will shine so bright that nobody will feel alone or afraid again.

It all starts with you as individuals. Don't wait for somebody else to take a stand. Get up and show everybody who you are. Don't let another star die.

So please, take this pledge. If not this one then take your own, to stand up against bullying and to confront anyone who partakes in the vicious act. We are all human, and we are all equal, all brightly and beautifully equal.
