It's too bad Matt Barber fails to realize that carbs are the real enemy.

The only thing that he said that I agree with is that sometimes those that preach tolerance, acceptance, and against vitriolic rhetoric are sometimes the most hateful, spiteful people themselves.

The rest of his nonsense is just that...complete crap. I want my one minute and thirteen seconds back.

    YAY SNARK!

This is the liberty counsel... which ironic is a anti-liberty lobbyiest group. They go out of their way to destroy liberty, because it runs counter to the teachings of supply-line Jesus. They exist so that when the real jesus returns, they will rush to crucify him for being what republicans call a 'socialist'.

They dont like liberty... because liberty is the one thing they arent allowed to control.

I love how conservatives claim that people wanting equal rights is bullying, but them hurassing, attacking, and murdering gay people isnt bullying.

He's one of the most ignorant bigots I've ever heard speak. I used to get his email blasts, which were so out-to-lunch it was clear that the guy doesn't even have both oars in the water.

    Personally, I think he's a closet faggot

    Good God, that was horrifying...

"Those of you claiming to be fighting against bullying, YOU are the worst kind of bullies."

....... Yes, because last I checked, we were the ones telling the people yelling "faggot," vandalizing school property, and threatening death/harm to kill themselves... oh wait, we're not... we're trying to make all that fucking stuff stop. Moron.

I don't mind proving him right, by slamming him face-first into a locker.

I agree with this statement. Frequently I see people who voice a disagreement with homosexuality in a relatively calm, non-hateful manner, while at the same time disagreeing with violence against anyone (including gays) for example. Or people that make the mistake of saying "choice" even in a non-hateful manner "They chose to be gay, but if they're happy I don't see a problem"

Then these people are verbally attacked for being "bigoted, hateful", etc. That's a big mistake in my opinion as in the spectrum of things these people are relatively moderate, and people who could potentially become allies if you got them to understand through discussion and education rather than attack them. Many people change opinions over time. As well people preach free speech, well it's a two way street. If you want people to listen to what you have to say, you have to be willing to listen to what they say, even if you disagree with it.

Other examples include the big bashfest on organized religion. Frequently all of Christianity is written off and mocked here and in other gay communities and elsewhere. I'm an atheist, but from my studying, not all denominations are anti-gay, and most denominations actually have some good points to them (sense of community, works of charity, good morals), so I don't mock someone just because they go to church, I may just discuss their church's views on homosexuality.

Another example is Republicans / Conservatives. People frequently get insulted for having one of these political affiliations. Some assume that if you're gay, there's no way you could be Republican. Strange thing, homosexuality isn't the main or only platform for the republican party, and it may be that on a whole a person's beliefs align more with the Republicans than elsewhere, even if they don't agree on all points. Democrats don't always agree on all points of the Democrat platform. There's a movie called "Gay Republicans". Recommended viewing. A theme in the movie is they (gay republicans) have better luck being accepted by Republicans than gays.

As well not all Republican politicians are as completely ridiculous as Sarah Palin. But it seems a lot of politics from all parties is just a bunch of arguing and insults, not having a discussion based on facts.

I agree with this as well.
