Seriously National Post, seriously?? Canada is better than that!!! It's the 21st century! Either National Post was paid good money for this ad, or someone in the advertising department is seriously prejudiced and uneducated.

Yeah this was a couple months back. That article though by Christie sickens me.

Especially because from the look of it she's a tomboy herself. She doesn't look very 'girly', why is she allowed to be herself but people born with penises have to fit a mould, like some kind of curse or punishment?

I bet Christie has never seen positive male rolemodels and thinks that violence is normal in society.

More sadly, despite being one herself, she's never had a positive female role model and thinks femininity is something shameful that in order to display you must be able to hide behind the excuse of being female.

As far as the article, I just don't understand how any human being can see children hugging and think this is a problem?

That ad is so ridiculous though. Since when do cisgendered children get "confused" because schools talk about queer people? I can't believe this has even happened.

Half way through reading the article, the quote in my sig came to mind.

All the problems of the world could be settled easily if men were only willing to think. The trouble is that men very often resort to all sorts of devices in order not to think, because thinking is such hard work.
