I only just got started recently and I can't get enough of it. I'm from Canada and I do keep up somewhat with Canadian politics, but Canadian politics just isn't as interesting as American. I guess extreme right or left wing views are not as publicized here in Canada.
Right now I am keeping up with the GOP race and I really do enjoy the satirical fake late night news from colbert and stewart.

I'm a marxist. *waits for shock and horror*

No, wait. I'm a communist in theory, a socialist in practice, and have my own ideas about how the world would work if I had the power to get people to listen to me.

I don't consider myself to be very political at all, honestly. I usually stand in the center of these things and try to figure out who will be best on my own. In the last election, I favored Democrats, but that may change in November. Not sure yet.

I don't find myself very political. I mean most of the things happening in parliment don't effect me much since I'm still a student. I'm pretty sure they're not going to destory my education or something that'd screw my life.
Yeah I'm concerned about gay marriage in Australia but it's not on my mind a lot. And anyway, I don't bother fighting with other people and their political views.
Oh I guess this was the product of not listening in commerce last year, no intrest in political issues.

I picked "slightly political", but it's hard for me to pick an overall descriptor for how political I am. When it comes to leadership politics and economic politics, I'm about as detached as I can be, because I find trying to follow it overwhelming and depressing. But when it comes to social politics, I'm very much an activist there, because that's the one sector I've seen change for the better in my lifetime, so it's something I can believe can change for the better.

Hmm, well I'm really political in regards to social policy but consider attempting to change fiscal policy to be pointless, so...moderately political?

Edit: I do love following politics though! It's all one great mostly pointless reality tv show, but with much better scripts!

I picked moderate. I like to be informed and be able to develop an educated opinion. I need to know what and who is the best option for me. That being said, I'm not very much of an activist or campaigner. I don't look for a debate, I just do what I please and vote as I wish.

I think I'm the most non-political person ever, however it seems I always manage to be more informed in politics than my friends. I really don't like politics because most politicians say too much bs and do very little work. Also I don't like politics because I really don't know to much about economics and the shows that talk about politics (and try to explain a bit about economics to the average people) are transmitted around midnight.

I don't care much for politics. Nothing really changes with different presidents in my country. At least not positive changes.

I find international Politics very interesting (I.e. Global economy, law, international relations etc) but I'm not really interested in any country's internal politics (my own included).

Since I was ten or so, I've understood the importance of being politically active. I follow the news, presidential elections, and aim to vote every four years.

    I am massively political.

I am a socialist. I am not a hardline socialist and probably fit in better with the term social democrat, essentially this puts my views on par with left wing eupopean parties and a Greens voter in Australia.

I believe those who aren't political have no right to complain about their government because they didn't care enough to take interest at elections.

    Moderately political.

I care a fair amount about politics, but not enough to base my life around it. However, I am relatively politically interested (compared to other people I know), and I'm a libertarian/right-wing economically and centre-left socially.

All in all, this means I fit into no major party, which annoys me.

I'm just like this, except it includes social politics, also. Politics depress me and stress me out, and I rather forcefully change the subject whenever someone tries to talk to me about it. It's just added stress that I can't handle.

I said slightly political because, I can't waste my time with BS and prefer to send my message to those around me in my way, not listening to the power players involved in the 'game'...

"If everyone would just shut the hell up and listen to me the world would be a better place" Hehehe!! :smilewave

Sometimes, a little part of me thinks that I would make the world better if I were leading it. Then I remember that pretty much everyone thinks the same. So I'm likely to forever remain an armchair politician, grimacing when governments don't do what I want, and not paying much attention when they do.

I'd say I'm moderate, but borderline along the slightly. It depends on the topic and which country you're talking about. But the main point is I do go and vote instead of thinking, "well my vote doesn't matter anyways".

Very political, it dominates most of what I think about, write about and do. I'm a liberal in the European sense, the closest would probably be the leadership wing of the Liberal Democrats in Britain, an Orange Booker, close to David Laws, who unfortunately resigned soon after they entered government. We don't have a liberal party in Ireland, so here I'm an active member of the centre-right party, Fine Gael.
