This is such a tricky subject, on the one hand its immoral to raise children into thinking a part of someone's identity or they way they choose to live their life is wrong. However, the very nature of faith schools is that children are raised with that belief system no matter how wrong we might think it is.

So then it falls to whether the topic should even be raised in a faith school at all (if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all approach). Or at the very least, two sides of the debate should be presented to children in an objective way, i.e. Christians/God believes this, but another belief is this....and allow children to develop their own opinion on it.

Like I say, it's a tricky one.
