SNL Casts First Openly Gay Female If you're like me, you like or at least know of the show Saturday Night Live!. My goal is to be on this show one day. Until then, I was really pleased to hear that their latest addition to the cast this Saturday is Kate McKinnon, of Big Gay Sketch Show fame. This is awesome! :eusa_danc
Here's a link to one of the sketches she appeared in (the Pantene commercial): 'SNL': Sofia Vergara Covers 'The Hunger Games' as Newbie Kate McKinnon Does Penelope Cruz (Video) | TheWrap TV Enjoy!
She did pretty well, especially as Tabatha from "Tabatha Takes Over." At the end of the episode when the whole cast was onstage, Bill Hader was pointing her out to the camera and shaking her hand.
I thought she was fantastic! I loved her on The Big Gay Sketch Show. In the other thread I mentioned that upon hearing the news, I was hoping for Julie Goldman also of TBGSS fame, but I am so happy for Kate, and think she has a bright future ahead of her - especially now that she can add SNL to her résumé. And it is also a goal of mine to be on SNL someday. So here's to us both then, Markio!
