    Conservative religion was doomed to hell the moment they started listening to political false prophets like Robertson, Falwell, and Popoff.

    God said that thou shall have no other gods before him.

    These various church denominations that make up rules and procedures that affect how doctrine is created, obeyed with absolutely no ties to the true church who controls the gates of Heaven, and within that faith, if you obey these man-made rules, you are putting man-made gods before the true God... just sayin'

    I don't think you can compare Methodists to "Robertson, Falwell, and Popoff" :rolle:

    thats why I? said 'conservative'. :slight_smile:

    I am in a lutheren church transitioning from ELCA to NALC, and we had conservative members that were in line with robertsons, falwells and popoffs of the world.

    denominations tend to have broad leanings.

    I think you are confusing 'conservative' Christians with 'evangelical fundamentalist' Christians. They are not the same.
