honestly, it made me cry when I was reading it. same with the documentary I watched (and posted under entertainment), it brought out a lot of pain that I have been holding in for almost 11 years now. it helps me to see other people facing their pain and sharing their stories, because I know that I'm not alone, and I know that I can share my story, too, and there are those out there who will know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

ps - also helps me to form my opinion and idea of how I will work to prevent young people from being pushed into an ex-gay experience by their families. go California, pass that bill, and Canada, lets hurry up and catch up because they are right - no child should have to go through that, ever.
