Makes sense seeing as how out of the two major party candidates, he is the least anti-gay.

I wish he'd actually pursue Civil Rights for gays at a federal level because letting the states take care of it on their own is slow, tedious, and full of roadblocks and u-turns. The time is always right for civil rights.

But, it's better than Romney wanting to put it in the constitution that marriage between one man and one woman is the only legal form of marriage forever.

Both men had grandfathers that were polygamists, btw.

Something that has always stuck in my craw, though, is the treatment of Bradley Manning. Here is a person, whom I consider a hero (and I don't throw that term around often), who is non-cisgendered being forced to present themselves in the nude in front of other people while being held on treason charges. How much of a violation of basic human dignity is that, piled on top of Manning being uncomfortable with his gender. All of this under the Presidents watch.

Maybe "he is the least anti-gay" is too strong, I mean, Obama has been pretty good on gay rights. He could be better... but that's on us to make him be better.
