    So... they are filing discrimination because insurance does not cover gay to straight therapy??

    That is really stupid...

    Um...yes they can, because religious beliefs has nothing to do with a person's mental health except for persecution they face because of it and possible self-hatred too. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Exactly. I think he's confusing an orginisation right to have a religious foundation with the right to mental treatment. Whether he does this unintentionally is another question all together....

    besides, at least in america, no legitimate medical association views such therapies to be valid medical practices. The medical assocations that claim it is valid, when you dig just under the surface, you realize are nothing more than front groups of neo-con political groups, and religious zealot organizations who also tend to promote criminalizing gay people's existance.

    Certain homeopathic treatments are also covered here, the placebo effect is at least partially recognised.
