Irish Deputy Prime Minister says 'time for gay marriage has come'.

    Today, the Irish Tánaiste (Irish language word for Deputy Prime Minister) announced his support for same-sex marriage on the same weekend as Dublin Pride:

    A recent poll in Ireland shows that 73% of people believe that gay people should have the right to marry.

    Ireland already have Civil Unions, but they're kind of a pathetic type of union, even compared to their counterpart in the UK.
