BBC News - Amazon's Jeff Bezos backs US gay marriage law

The founder of Amazon and his wife, and Microsoft founders back the same-sex marriage law in Washington. Nice to see that rich people can spend money on good things : )

It feels a bit weird though that people/organisations with money can influence laws and government, but that's America I guess.

They're business owners, they know they'd be caught stupid to lose perfectly good gay talent to their more accepting competitors.

If your headquarters are in the state that bans gay marriage, you also risk a brain drain into more accepting states like Massachusetts.
