Being Viet, I am so proud of these people who have made themselves more visible to the Vietnamese community. We are moving forward. Yes!

This was my first thought. It is so wonderful to hear something like this. Asian countries happen to hold a very special interest for me, have since I was small. Seeing this kind of progress makes me happy. I smile. And to hear that the society seems to support them, or at least not have too much of an issue with the whole thing, makes it that much more wonderful. There are still so many places in the world that would just as easily shoot you for flashing that rainbow. So this...this is great. :eusa_danc

Well, this was not a protest, just peaceful cycling/a rally, and they didn't even ask for permission. Besides, it looked pretty.

I would show you guys some photos, but the event wasn't in my city (the largest city and the most liberal part of the country). It took place in the capital - the supposedly conservative part.

Lol at the people who covered their entire faces. I guess it was really hot.

Honestly, these people probably have no idea what the Rainbow flag stands for lol. Asian cultures are extremely harsh on homosexuality..
