The cookie cutter marriage vows don't contain "to infertility do we part", if I remember correctly, nor do marriage licenses contain as a prerequisite the ability and the willingness to naturally conceive children. Still, many faith leaders insist that naturally conceiving children IS a requirement of marriage (or, perhaps, even the whole point of marriage). They have really got to come back to reality. Alas, I don't believe poor Pat ever will.
