477 of Fortune 500 provide protections for gay people!

    Wow, just read this article by Equality Forum and apparently 477 of the Fortune 500 companies in the US specifically include sexual orientation in their workplace policies!

    The link has a list of the companies that do and do not provide protections. There are a few surprises on the list of companies that do provide protections... banks and insurance companies and other typically conservative businesses.

    I had no idea the numbers were that high! It indicates we've made really dramatic progress in recognition of the need for anti-discrimination and inclusion policies.

    Quite impressive. Rather funny though that the only one in the Non-Compliant companies that I actually recognize is DISH Networks lol

    I recognised Exxon Mobil on the Non-Compliant list! Something needs to be done about that! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
