Help for LGBT Youth in the Middle East

In a region where coming out of the closet in real life legally puts one's life and freedom and jeopardy, a human rights organization has created an online forum in Arabic.

The organization puts great emphasis on anonymity, since the governments of these nations have been known to track people down based on what they posted on the internet and torture them. It is great that people in the Middle East have somewhere where they don't have to lie about themselves, even if it is just a website. After all, the Islamic world makes rural, conservative America seem like a LGBT pride parade.

 

I doubt it is a set-up. The main threat would be if the governments of these nations tried to break into the site to get the personal information from it.
