    As someone who lives in the middle of the most highly concentrated Iranian area outside of Iran....LIES! Totally untrue. There are lots of diaspora gays. Gay Iranian jews (and christians, muslims, etc.).
    They may exist here, but not in that bastion of tolerance and human rights, Iran.

    The funny thing is, Iran government actually support transsexual people.Here is something from Wikipedia :

    It is as if, they are totally fine with everything, as long as it is still between a man and woman, even if those men and women are transexual. Which makes it kind of a...unique case.

    They are kind of wonky, but that paying for sex changes is still something I like to wave in politicians faces. "Even Iran does this for it's people, what does that make you?" etc
