Honey Boo Boo Shares Her Thoughts On Gay People

I kind of like that honey boo boo show, it's pretty funny. And it sounds like Miss Boo Boo is at least a little smart on human rights. Lol

whats disturbing is that she even has any idea of sex at all to understand why people mistreat gay people in the first place.

 

Not really.For one, you don't have to understand sex to understand that men marrying men and women marrying women seems different than men marrying women. For two, I went to a children's museum in Amsterdam and there was a rather explicit exhibit about sex. The idea that kids should be protected from learning about sex is a pretty American one.

I'm amazed how such young people (who society basically just laughs at) really have their shit together and can form such concise ideas.

As if I didn't love her show enough. I get a kick out of Honey Boo Boo.

The fact is, if not corrupted by bigoted adults, kids wouldn't grow up hating gay people. Same goes for other prejudice. That's all learned. HBB apparently grew up in a family that accepts her gay uncle so she knows that some guys want to be with other guys and that's all being gay is. That's how it should be.

 

Haha I'm more than a little gay. Kids can be so smart. A lot smarter than the adults usually.

 

That gives me hope for the generation's behind me

 

She's a kid. It's not a big deal but it's nice to see she thinks gay isn't wrong. When a kid even like Honey Boo Boo approves of us, it gives me hope for the future. Nothing against the girl, but let's just say...her show hasn't necessarily given me much an opinion of her.

 

Who is Honey Boo Boo?

 

I believe Honey Boo Boo is a frequent child pageant contestant who first appeared on the reality show Toddlers in Tiaras. She's from the South and is a very dramatic child, so they gave her her own show where the audience is entertained by the antics of a lower-class Southern family that participates regularly in child pageantry.

I don't watch the show at all, so I could be wrong. I know a lot of people seem to be watching it, so at least a tolerant opinion regarding gay people is reaching a mass audience...

 

Let me get this straight (lol pun intended), a person like Honey Boo Boo... gives you hope for the future? hahahaha oh god, oh god. its too much.
