    Good news, but I wonder...

    Without an actual Federal declaration legitimizing the status of same-sex couples, this might be challenged by those who disagree. I expect noise on the matter...

    This is actually a place where bureaucracies have a lot of leeway. For example, they can make deportation a person in a same-gender coupling a low priority for enforcement (i.e. they look the other way).

    This is great news! :slight_smile: This administration has done more than any other for us and I hope everyone gets out and votes for Obama this year. He still has more work to do with ENDA and eliminating DOMA.
