Gay And Voting For Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney...This guys views on gays and their rights annoys me so much. I know it won't affect me at all if he wins the election but still. Anyone who has that naivety :S about gays annoys me. Like we're not as important as .. what .. the regular straight people? And we dont deserve the same amount of respect from one and another? We shouldn't be married to the same sex or even consider bringing up a child with the one you love?

:bang: Just like the guy in the video said, even though its just one issue we're focussing on, it should be enough. Why would you vote for him knowing he doesn't support the gay movement?

mitt romney winning the election is a disaster for people, even though outside the united states. Look what Bush's economic collapse of the world econamy did to the rest of the world. Romney is bush on steroids, and high on bullshit.

there are things about that man that bother me far more about his stance on gay people.

I really hope he loses, i won't have to fear him any more.

Great video. Wish I'd seen it a while back so I could have shared it with more people.

The guy who made it is the same guy working on a very in-depth documentary on gay rights (and, coincidentally, the same guy who did the lovely "california boys" parody)

Romney's sociopathic lack of empathy for anyone, regardless of their sexual orientation, should be enough to turn people off of him.

Look, you vote for people that will help YOU improve in this country. Nobody else. Mitt Romney isn't the best 'person' to vote for, for anybody on this website. He isn't for any of our rights, being that we are all LGBT.

On a side note, if you aren't voting this year, get up, and go vote for Barack Obama for me. Thanks.

β€œI agree with 3000 years of recorded history. I believe marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman and I have been rock solid in my support of traditional marriage. Marriage is first and foremost about nurturing and developing children. It’s unfortunate that those who choose to defend the institution of marriage are often demonized.” – 12/14/06 National Review Online

This is a quote from Mitt Romney. Do I say more?

I look at Obama and his family and I see a loving, caring family who deeply appreciate their country.

I look at Romney and his family and I see an empty, heartless dark bunch of people who don't care about anyone but themselves.

I don't think that caring is in Romney's neurological makeup.

I feel the gays that vote for Romney have some self-hate... or they really are just dumb.

The way I see it, some like to feel as though they're somehow sacrificing themselves for some greater good. Like the Governor will really turn the economy around and gay rights can wait. I just don't see why Romney is somehow a better choice that Obama. But at least the President delivered on the social issues. Other than the extreme religious Right, I feel a lot of people vote Republican despite their stance on social issues.

I've spoken before about how I feel gays who vote Republican shouldn't be so quickly branded as somehow traitors to the cause. But if I had to give my visceral reaction to this election, it is that I really hope President Obama wins. When it comes to Governor Romney, the Republican rallying cry basically amounts to, "We're not happy with this guy, so let's give this other guy a try" rather than any actual reasons for why Romney is somehow better.

I considered sending a long, angry email about how things were hard enough for LGBT people to the Romney campaign email address, but then I realized I probably couldn't do it without swearing a bit (in the email), so I didn't. Plus, he's not worth getting worked up over. Why get upset because a multi-millionaire who thinks the way I want to live my life is wrong, plus has never gone into specifics on how the :***: he'll make America better is running for president?:bang::help:
