LGBT Nation: Iowa justice who ruled in favor of same-sex marriage retained by voters This is probably a smaller result, but in my view, we need to bring to light the full spectrum of victories for queer people. One of them was that Justice Wiggins, who voted with the unanimous court in legalizing same-sex marriage, was retained, defeating a concerted effort by the forces of evil to remove him from office.
I wish I had researched this stuff before I voted. I voted straight party, and then left the stuff with the judges blank because I hadn't researched them =( At least it worked out.
