Once again, homosexuality is compared to murder and other horrible things.

This wrinkled bigot needs to go. Its time has come.

christanity has killed more people than homosexuality...

Scalia's lifework on promoting homophobia is invalidated.

Its wring to compare being gay to murder. How are they the same? In what way can you compare them? He is just a big homophobe that needs to be knocked off his high horse.

Scalia's the worst judge on the Supreme Court. Even Thomas acknowledged that sodomy laws were stupid, even if he thought states should be allowed to have them.

Scalia's argument is bad. We are allowed to have "moral feelings," but we're not allowed to express them necessarily in law. I'm actually more offended than anything that he thinks our "moral feelings" are what give rise to the justification for punishing murder.

Moral truth does not come from "feelings." Moral truth are facts of the universe like 1 + 1 = 2. I can "feel" like 1 + 1 = 2, but that doesn't give the justification for it.

He needs to be more rigorous than that. His argument basically reduces to "I think that we live in a direct democracy, and the will of Congress goes."

Why is that? I'd argue that morality is subjective.

Morality is subjective, but only in the sense that moral truth derives from facts about the mental states of conscious beings. There is still moral truth. Just because the majority "feels" a certain way about something doesn't make it right.

What do you mean by 'moral truth?' If something is subjective, how can there be a correct or incorrect answer like with math problems?

the only moral truth I accept is "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." its basic and straight forward.

since Scalia has been fucking america...

... lets let someone else do that, cause i doubt any of us want to return the favor to that fat, sweet-stained walking armpit.
