situation in Switzerland after the vote about the right for gay couples to adopt the partner's children (not any other children) (and it passed ) the politician Christoph Mörgeli (aka dr. Mengele reborn, name given by some newspaper), officially asked when "the right to adopt pets was up for vote". imho politicians with such a social integrity belong banned form every government. Comparing the guardship over children to the holding of pets reduces lgbt humans to an animalic level. In my eyes this kind of attitude towards homosexual couples is just as discriminating as judging someone for his ethnical background (what is officially illegal here).
The children themselves aren't necessarily gay. Does he consider his own sons and daughters dogs, or goldfish perhaps?
