its funny, jesus rejected the death penalty and never once mentioned homosexuality, but did say we are to love and treat all others as we want to be treated ourselves.

    thereby, anton scalia is anti-christian.

Considering how much scripture contradicts itself, I think its hard to have opinions on nearly anything and not be anti-christian in some way or another.

but given how most of the arguments using bible using the heterosexual culture in the bible.. it's therefore implied that homosexuality is indirectly implied? *head hurts*

Reductio ad absurdum indeed. What he failed to include was that murder infringes on a person's right to life. My rights end where another's begin.

And as we all know, kissing a member of the same gender infringes on absolutely jack squat.

Ergo, being gay is great and killing people is a crime. And that guy argues like an arrogant idiot who just discovered that logical progression is a thing.

I'm with Swordsman on this one. It's just inflammatory, fallacious nonsense.

I really didn't want this to be accepted by the supreme court until those two trolls were off it :frowning2: the idea that these two extremely biased men who clearly allow their prejudices to get in the way of interpreting the constitution as the document it is is outrageous and unconstitutional.

  12. I support homosexuality but oppose the death penalty. His theory is proven false.

I'm really not feeling confident about what's going to happen with the Supreme Court.

With Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Roberts, along with the recent comments by that moron Kagan (thanks Obama!), the court taking up the marriage equality cases now might set us back decades in the long-run.
