How to get involved in the LGBT community?

    To be honest, I feel a bit cut off from the LGBT community, I live in the UK, and I've tried to join some LGBT groups, but when I contact their number, they all no longer exist, I just want to meet some LGBT people, to make new friends, share experiences ad maybe help people out. Any ideas on what I can do?
