It's nice to hear, but at the same time it's sad that we need peoples approval, especially for religious reasons.

Note: It's not that they don't believe homosexuality is a sin, but that they don't believe homosexual behavior is. Most homophobes will happily say that having "same-sex attraction" is hunky-dory as long as you live a celibate life. When they admit that having gay sex is okay, that's when we win.

Well we 'need' peoples' approval for practical reasons, in that public opinion is what will turn the tide in terms of civil rights advancement and acceptance into society.

But I know I certainly don't personally "need" or even care about what some neanderthals think about my sexuality anymore than they should have an opinion on any other aspect of my life. They should be minding their own damn business, live their own lives the way they think their god wants them to while butting the hell out of mine.

Nothing is a sin. You cannot be forsaken by a benevolent god. but what do I know, I'm an atheist.

Do you seriously think I care about those mindless religious freaks?
Why the fuck would I need their acceptance?

More people believe homosexuality is not a sin.
    1) I don't care what you people believe about homosexuality.
    2) I don't care if you think it isn't a sin, sins aren't real. Neither is your god.

Yeah that article is odd. It uses homosexuality and homosexual actions interchangeably. Two very different things so we have no clue what that article is really about.

From what I read, it was referring to homosexual activities.
