I had had a discussion with a Catholic on another forum who claimed the Church wasn't homophobic.
He kept citing the Catechism, but when I pointed out that the Church supported the anti-gay legislation in Uganda, he simply stuck his fingers in his ears.
It's not just American evangelicals, the Catholic church in Uganda actively supported these laws.
