I find her to be a very short sighted woman who I would respect a whole lot more if her position was made without the traces of frivolous feelings she claims the "other side" to have.

And you know what, this is the bit I agree with. Only it should really, genuinely be about what the children need not what offends the sensibilities of someone who as far as I can tell is the personification of The Sun newspaper. Children need a home that is right for them, they need people who will provide a stable home and will take the time to explain the situation to the children who come into their home. The problem is that she does not put children first, she puts her views and what she knows to be right before the children. It is what may be right for some, and it may be right for her, and it could be right for others, but she ignores the harm that some of the things she advocates as being right for children can do when applied to those for whom it is not right.

I appreciate the view she's putting across, but I feel she is only given airtime because she's so charmless in her presentation of what she deems moral that I find it very hard to remember that she is an educated woman who does make some very good points (sometimes) which she then smothers in something that leaves a vile taste in my mouth.

Come on, don't sink down to her level by resorting to insults to her appearance. Makes us as bad as her.
