Feels like it might be, in the UK the vote on gay marriage is next month I think. I does seem to be getting better.
Seeing how many Australians approve of (or don't really care about) same sex marriage, I wanna see it happen! Come on, Julia. Quit bein' a bogan. Heh. I do have hopes, though! And America's doing great from what I've heard with regards to same sex marriage and civil unions.
I'm excited! But, a little scared to be honest. I'm used to fighting, what will I be good at now that allies are growing in strength to smooth rough edges out?
Hope so! There's a vote in the UK government next week as to whether gay marriage should be legal or not, so fingers crossed. A lot of politicians are saying it shouldn't be legal, as teachers will be obliged to tell children that gay marriage is the same as a heterosexual marriage. So they should! It's exactly the same...
I hope so, it would be about time if same sex marriage finally wasn't a big deal. I really hope it happens
or in my case...the teacher tells the children gay marriage is the same as heterosexual marriage....and then tells them he's getting married the following week lol. The joys of teaching oh and im not getting married but just thinking hypothetically to the day when the lovely curious darlings ask what mr teachers gf/wife is called and I answer "Bernard" (!)
