Kobe Bryant chides fan's anti-gay tweet

    It's always nice to see an athlete doing something like this. For me, this is especially good since not only is Bryant one of the most well-known basketball players in the world, but it also shows a step in the right direction after his incident last April (Bryant was fined $100,000 for using a gay slur during a game).

    Also, even though the comments section of ESPN is usually painful to read for articles like this, when I read the story, the most-liked comment was "I do not like Kobe at all but he set a great example here" - quite a pleasant surprise.
