I felt extremely immature for laughing when then said the doctor was a Dr. Gay, even though she was a woman.

Silly me.

 

This is very interesting. This can really change the future.

so the gays can start debunking the HIV stereotypes?

 

That's a pretty important result, and I really hope that this technology can become more advanced, effective, and available.

 

This is wonderful. Too bad most of the cases will be with poor mothers, who probably wont be able to afford this "cure" for their baby. Everything is dollar-signed these days, so I am feeling the cynic in me doubt that a lot of babies will be cured from HIV. But it is great progress!

 

I'm mostly happy this means it's possible. It's still a pretty limited result, because it looks like that had to catch it within hours of birth.

From what I understand, it's not going to help a lot of us out because from the time to getting infected to where you actually test positive is too long.

 

I found this and posted it on Facebook, basically saying that its a prime example of what humanity can do when it puts its mind to it and focuses on furthering our knowledge and talents.
