    I just hope that the Supreme Court makes the right choice and lays down once and for all that gay people have the same rights as other citizens to find happiness through marriage and committed love.

    I think we are more likely to see a striking of doma and a decision on prop 8 that sets legal precedence against efforts of states to take away civil rights through popular vote. I don't see the court going all the way in making same-sex marriage universally legal at this point. It is frustrating, but our legal system was not designed to be expediant.
