LGBT News Civil Union just signed into law in Colorado!

    That's awesome! It seems like there's not too much out there on this story.

    Just shows you how it's really not that big of a deal. (In a good way.)

    While this is good, it still does nothing for people federally. Even if DOMA were struck down. "Civil unioned" couples will not be able to file joint federal taxes, etc.

    Indeed, it is really more about the process finally being initiated. This is not the end but hopefully it is really the beginning, towards Colorado joining other states in recognizing marriage.
