This is the last, desperate reaction to progress.

First thing that came to mind is when Ruby Bridges (the first black child to go to an all-white school) had to have police guards escort her through all of the angry protesters.

This stuff has to stop :frowning2:

    ^^ I agree, Fugs.

France is predominantly Catholic, which explains a lot to me. It also disturbs me that they called the law "anti-family." Seriously? That annoys the ever-living crap out of me. Homophobic assholes.

I first thought "what, all 10 of them?"

France is quite open. Same sex rights are a bit lower on their list, but for the most part, french people are very open. They talk openly about sex...well, everything. They handle things very well. I'd be interested to see who was protesting.... And why? All french people? Crazy Christians ......?

lol, wait, if France has a socialist party, are there others in Europe or other countries where gays can marry?

and no, i'm not asking about USA's phobia of the word "socialism"

All of the nations in Europe who have legalized same-sex marriage have at least one major party that claims to be socialist.

Exactly. The last gasp for breath before the animal is finally slaughtered.

Maybe that was a morbid comparison... oh well, I still enjoy it anyways.
