Not sure what to feel about this.
On one hand, it is great that we are coming ever closer to equality and progress.
On the other hand...It seems like they are just jumping ship for political reason rather than genuine care for us. It feels fake.

It doesn't matter why they're doing it, what matters is progress is being made. And, if supporting marriage equality is seen as a smart political move, then this just means that our society in general is becoming more accepting.

I think any kind of support, for whatever reason, is good support.

He's on the lists for a possible 2016 Candidate - - so it's a little fishy that Hillary just did it, and now him.

Still, I really don't care. He said it - it took guts....even if he did it for political gain, it's still helping us!

No Democrat opposed to marriage equality will ever gain the nomination again. Warner's already going to fundraisers and whatnot to lay the ground for a bid. He's a moderate, but support for same-sex marriage has become so high that both moderates and liberals now back it, and only conservatives are opposed.

I don't think this is politics. I mean he supports ENDA. He also signed the brief to get rid of DOMA, he is only making that official. He is pretty popular in Virginia I think this is a good decision.
