Lols i included these people in my ten page gay right's essay for government, and this church is just ridiculous. Check out this guy's "God Hates Fags" video and TELL me that beneath all the anger you initially feel towards that guy, there is the urge to burst with laughter ^^

 

Why do people give these people attention...

People realize they love everytime they come up in a story right? They don't really care about what coverage they get, just that they get some. A lot of their funding comes from winning lawsuits against people who attack them.

 

Death penalty? That's just sick.

 

I want that cape so bad. You have no idea how much I want to run around in a cape like that.

 

There actually a lot of Christians who at least support civil unions/domestic partnerships, and even without that I've never met a Christian who thought gays should be arrested or hated. Groups like the Westboro Baptist Church are an embarrassment to most Christians, and pretty much all groups besides the WBC themselves hate the WBC anyway. I'm pretty sure even people like Rush Limbaugh hate the WBC, and that's saying something. xD

I really do think they are just trying to get an excuse for lawsuits, but I did see a documentary that suggests they also really believe what they are saying. *shudders*

I'm guessing they're talking about "not true Christians" that don't follow every single word of the Bible. WBC consider themselves the only real, pure Christians, don't they?

Anyway, that cape is so cool! I love how both couples are basically blocking the people of WBC in that pic. xD

 

Doing this will never stop the Westboro Baptist Church or effect them, but I do think it's a really good "f*ck you" to most of them, in some way. I think it would be a pretty fun thing to do someday in front of them, and the people who do so- like these two couples here- forever have my gratitude and respect.

Also, the couple on the right seem like a really cute couple to me, and the cape was a nice touch

I saw that sign in the background, too. Most of their signs are just outrageous and disgusting, and they honestly believe what they're saying.

 

I love the way rainbow cape is holding his dude. Even if he is jamming his cell phone against the side of lover's face. :love:
