I recall reading they don't even really have effective missiles that could actually reach the U.S. South Korea sure, they could do that (and in turn alienate their Chinese allies by killing Chinese residents in SK) but actually believing they could reach the U.S. is hilarious...

Well obviously the US would blow up a nuke before it got anywhere near the US. And really, who would be stupid enough to nuke the country right next to you? Never heard of this scary stuff which damages DNA? Its called r.a.d.i.a.t.i.o.n. It leads to slow and painful deaths, genetic mutations, physical deformities, and all round misery. Unless being used on strawberries.

I don't think North Korea is dumb enough to bomb the U.S. - it's just bullshit rhetoric. I think they're well aware the United States could pretty much wipe them off the map.

No, but seriously, I think he's bluffing. I strongly believes that he wants to attack us, but we're out of range for a nuclear attack. His father did not try to start a war with any and everyone, so I'm not sure what's going on in his warped mind and if he had any sense, he'd stand down. And what the hell is wrong with all these dictators who love making threats. Even if he does not agree with our customs/lifestyle then too damn bad, get over it already!!!
