    Cesar Chavez Honored With Google Doodle On Easter, Sparking Religious Backlash

    Seriously, people? You're switching to Bing because they had pictures of Easter Eggs on there? They've never had any religious doodles before, but now people are choosing to freak out when they show a Latin American person?

    Really, this man was a Catholic and in a way, followed the principles of Christianity well. Serve and try to protect the poor from exploitation. Even more infuriating is the people who confuse him with Hugo Chavez.

    I, even as a Christian, feel that the man ought to get a bit more recognition from the public. So many people didn't even know who he was, and he did a lot for worker's rights. That's certainly a lot more meaningful than a drawing of a few colorful eggs, which has nothing to do with Christianity anyways.

    He really was an interesting person, here's his Wikipedia page:

    If google just stayed "Google..." it would be so boring. People would bitch about that, too. They'd bitch about getting rid of it. Then they'd bitch about bringing it back.

    Really? People are mad because google isn't a "christian"? Did they really expect to visit google and find a doodle of christ hanging on the cross on good friday and then an "empty tomb" on easter sunday?

    I find it amusing how 99% of the people against it thought that it was Hugo Chavez the recently deceased Venezuelan socialist leader.

    People forget the internet is secular, if you want to have God everywhere on your internet go on Fox New, Conservapedia, SBC and so on .

    True!! But idiots who think he is Hugo Chavez are the same ones who think all LGBT people are mentally ill people and are therefore immoral sinners. Their view on reality makes no correlation to ours
