For what it's worth, I read a survey that said that about 25% of Americans believe that aliens from another planet are living here... and we know that 25% of Americans believe that Sarah Palin is intelligent and competent as well.

So what that tells me is that, given all of that, 25% of the American population is dumb as shit

Ugh. Do I have to spell it out? The antichrist is CEASAR NERO! It's in the bible MANY, many times. Scholars also pretty much know this fundamentally. It also makes a ton more sense, since Nero was the first Ceasar to persecute and torture Christians. Why on Earth would anybody writing any book, let alone the Bible refer to someone they'd never heard of, let alone someone in the future, something nobody can predict?
It's even in Revelations as the Number of the Beast.

That doesn't really make a good excuse for not doing your research. About half of what I heard in Sunday School was the Romans and their relationship with Christians.

And although that may not be true with every church, I'll reiterate something I said before: How can someone who is writing any book, let alone something like the Bible, refer to anyone in the future? If it was someone else in the past like maybe Judas Escariot, then that would make a bit more sense. It just doesn't seem logical at all to be saying "Hey, that guy in the future that we may or may not know is a black leader is the antichrist,"

I'm actually more intrigued by the people who believe in the "shape-shifting alien reptilian people control our world by taking on human form" thingy.

OMG HOW DO THEY KNOW THEY ARE REPTILIAN

A lot of people at the church that threw me out thought that Obama was the antichrist. It's nice to not have to deal with them anymore. I was getting sick of seeing that stuff on my facebook.

Idk... I'm not saying there is a new world order being implemented, but I would not be surprised at all if it was happening

This is just bad polling. "A same of Americans" could mean "people who visit online forums about conspiracy theories" or some other specific niche that would more readily reveal these numbers. Then they say it applies to the whole population. Anyone with any kind of statistics knowledge should discard this poll as complete crap. Anyone with common sense should wonder how slow the news day was in the UK for the Guardian to publish such nonsense.
