    It appears UKIP are the UKs very own form of republicanism, a hotbed of racism, homophobia and xenophobia.

    Since I don't live in my birth country anymore I wonder what is going on,these lot have skyrocketed out of nowhere, they are now the 4th party , maybe third as they seem to be eating up the lib demos

    It was in PE lessons that I first learned "gay" meant something other than "bad fashion sense".

    As far as I am aware...they have kicked people out for holding racist/homophobic views. So the party itself does not hold these views, it's just a shame that a few of it's candidates do and are foolishly outspoken about them.

    I had to take 4 years of PE in High School. (Only 2 required) the damn counselors wouldn't stop putting me in the class.

    Clearly, they were trying to get rid of the gayness they knew about but no one else did. Clearly.

    Don't quote me on this, but I seem to recall the Mormons or at least some group within the Mormons promoting playing basketball once (and maybe still do) to "cure" people of being gay.

    I positively refused to shower with other boys in junior high just because I was scared of an erection in the showers. I have honestly wondered in recent years if there would have been a problem, or not. But I guess a part of me is glad I played it safe, even though not showering made me unpopular. (Then, again, I was unpopular, anyway.)
