New Zealand, Rhode Island, Jason Collins, Delaware. It's been a good couple weeks. I'm getting more and more optimistic

Holy crap, I was reading about Minnesota earlier and was expecting that to be the next state to legalise it.

I'm guessing the senate scheduled a vote rather suddenly? It almost seems to have come out of nowhere. Last I heard it passed the house but there was a bit of uncertainty on whether the senate had the votes.

    Anyways, woop!

Between Gov Corbett, Pat Toomey and a Democratic Senator in Bob Casey who just started supporting it, I wouldn't count on it anytime soon

ST. PAUL, Minn.: Minnesota appears poised to legalize gay marriage - Politics Wires - MiamiHerald.com

House vote thursday  I'm feeling good about it since the lead sponsor of the bill said he wouldn't call a vote until he was sure we have the votes we need for it to pass. Optimism in the past few weeks has been skyrocketing!!!

I'm glad that there's another state I can get married in, and I wish the queer folks of that state well.

I will still refuse to marry until it becomes accessible to everyone in the US.

I wonder how many people that aren't for gay marriage are voting to pass it just to get it off the news.

Wait what? I didn't even realize Delaware was in the process of marriage equality. This moving pretty fast, and with Minnesota possibly legalizing it very soon? :eusa_danc

    Great news.

But now that Delaware and Rhode Island have passed marriage equality, it's pissing me off even more about that scum Chris Christie vetoing marriage equality in New Jersey, otherwise we would have a whole marriage equality corridor right down the Northeastern Atlantic coast from Maine to Maryland+DC. :tantrum:

Last time I checked, 13 was supposed to be a lucky number. Seems to me, that is totally not the case, in fact if anything it is lucky. At least it has been to me. 2013 has been a great year for me so far. First of all I pass my knife practical, pass my pack test with seven minutes to spare. And now, Delaware legalizes gay marriage. My next hope is get it legalized in Colorado, California, and Montana.

California has been battling it for a while now.. I say soon enough it will be legal.
Sadly, it will definitely happen in the north before it happens here in the south.

I'm glad Delaware became the 11th state; we can now get married in 22% of states. I just hope the momentum keeps on. Just hope I can get married in Texas within my lifetime.
