LGBT News Anti-Gay Marriage Propaganda

Ah, the old "They'll destroy our marriage" argument. Not only do they ignore all countries that have legalized same-sex marriage, but they also ignore that those countries have seen no noticeable change to the institution of marriage.

Facts are difficult to digest for some I suppose.

 

I've never in my life met a straight couple who said that me marrying the person I love would "destroy" their marriage, let alone affect it in any way. It's pathetic that gay marriage wasn't legalized long ago considering how terrible the opposing arguments are.

 

^same here. It's like saying that black people moving into my neighborhood will "destroy" the nature of the community of already white people (I'm white by the way). I hate racism and I hate homophobic straight people who make idiotic arguments like that. No one's destroying anything, relax...quit quivering in fear please.

I try my best to understand every side of an argument, but sometimes they so greatly confuse me...

Are they even trying to back up this stuff with anything, or is it pure bull crap?

I hate how "intelligent" people fail to realise that what you say here is absolutely correct.

 

If the fact that gay people can marry destroys your union, you may want to question how solid your relationship really was.
In all seriousness... really? People actually swallow this tripe?

 

"Marriage won't be about commitment to bearing and raising children." Yeah not surprised, they've said this fifty times over. The fact is though, that's not what marriage is about.
