    Unfortunately, it's getting to be pretty easy to tell the difference between enlightened and free countries, and those that aren't, by the way they treat those who identify themselves as LGBT.

    It is not a good thing to be a canary in a coal mine...

    This is so sad :frowning2:, I don't understand why we can't just all love each other for are uniqueness we are all human beings going through life's struggle's, why not just love each other. Spread the love <3

    The world doesn't work that way... Never has, never will. Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but it's the sad truth of things. There are though, communities that do accept and love everyone in them. Whether it be an online community, such as EC, or a neighbourly organization that one would attend in person, such as a local LGBT group.

    Edit: Should add, in many cases a church is another one of those areas... as long as you agree with them.

    Well, it IS Russia. The only way they could become more anti-gay is if they made homosexuality illegal.
